FAQ INTERCESSORSHow do I become a member of Apostolic Intercessors Network? To become a member of AIN please review our requirements and then submit an application and two character references. The forms can be downloaded from the Contact Us page. I was approved as an AIN member with an assessment period. What does this mean? To assess means to estimate, evaluate or determine the significance, importance or value of something. Some of our members are approved on assessment status for a period of time. You are eligible to be a team member and receive compensation during your assessment period. AIN leadership looks forward to getting to know you, evaluating and assessing you during this time frame. If you have not been placed on a team by the end of your assessment period, we will extend your assessment status. When will I begin receiving compensation? First of all, you must be assigned to an AIN Prayer Team before you can receive compensation. You will receive payment from us after we receive payment from the client. Payments are usually mailed around the 15th and end of each month depending on the date of the client's Intercessory Agreement. How do I get selected to an intercessory prayer team? You are selected based on your anointings, experience and training. The Consultant and Team Director have access to information you submitted on your application form. It is important for you to understand we do not select intercessors on a first come first serve basis. NOTE: Your AIN monthly dues must be current for you to be considered as an AIN team member. How long is my commitment to pray for the client? Your length of commitment on a team depends solely on the client's desires. Our Intercessory Agreements with our clients range from 3 months to 1 year with the option to renew. Can I pray for more than one business? It is up to you. You may be selected for more than one team and are free to accept or decline additional assignments. How do you work together as a team if the intercessors do not meet face-to-face? Email is the primary source of communication and phone conference calls with the team occur occasionally. AIN has an annual meeting where members have the opportunity to meet and interact with each other. SKYPE (internet-based phone calls) is also an option. What are my responsibilities as a team member? Team members need to accept, believe and carry out the vision of AIN. We expect you to live a lifestyle of integrity and moral excellence and endeavor to keep these standards to the best of your ability. You are to keep prayer requests and private information confidential. You are to be accountable to AIN leadership, communicate with clarity and directly with the Team Director, not the client. We ask that you examine issues in the light with revelation from a spiritual perspective not from your intellect or experience. You are encouraged to attend AIN annual meetings to receive vision, equipping and effective strategies. Do you recommend any reading materials specific to workplace intercession? Yes, we have compiled a list of excellent resources on this website. Check out the Resources page. Additional teaching materials including CDs by Tommi Femrite are available on the GateKeepers International website at www.gatekeepersintl.org. How do I prepare personally to intercede for those in the workplace? You are on the verge of taking your intercession gifts into the workplace. God has equipped you, trained you and strengthened you for this mission. Choose to go into this new arena with a spearhead of prayer. God is calling you to go in as the offensive team not the defensive team. Ask Him for personal cleansing, strategies, dreams, visions and His blessing as you go forward. |
